ISO 14726-compliant marine pipe markers

Marking pipes on ships and offshore sites is of the utmost importance to strengthen safety at all times. Accidents, injuries and damage to machines and equipment can originate from not knowing which substances flow through pipes. 

ISO 14726 pipe markers are a combination of 2 colour categories:

  • Main colours for media groups
  • Additional colour for different media or functions
 

Colour scheme

The ISO 14726 standard (International Standard Organisation) specifies the principle colours for the identification of substances in pipes. ISO 14726-2 specifies additional colour codes that allow a more detailed identification of the substance.
